hosted by The Gluten Free Buyers Guide.  In October, over a few thousand people will be voting for their gluten free brands, products and of course bloggers.  After the voting has taken place we will crown the top three bloggers with an GFA Award Winner Seal.  As of now all 40 bloggers are eligible to show the 7th Annual GFA Nominee Seal found at http://www.glutenfreebuyersguide.com/media.html

The top 4o gluten free bloggers are now given the ability to nominate their favorite gluten free brands and products for the 7th Annual Gluten Free Awards.  Some brands and products have already submitted their products into the award program, however, this ensures some of the newer or smaller brands get the appreciation and support from our community that they deserve.  Once the top bloggers have cast their votes, The Gluten Free Buyers Guide will kick off the 7th Annual Gluten Free Awards where thousands of people vote for the nominated and registered products.  The Awards are scheduled to be open to the public October 1st.  A link will be generated by that day that will take voters to the gluten free polls. Winners will be announced through the 2017 Gluten Free Buyers Guide scheduled to be published by November 24th.   If you happen to be 1 of the 40 bloggers, please send me a note at Josh at GlutenFreeBuyersGuide.com for your link to nominate.

Our History and How it all Works

My wife and I created the Gluten-Free Awards seven years ago after we found families like us who couldn’t afford to experiment with expensive gluten free products. We needed to quickly find products our family would actually enjoy without going broke.  It was bad enough to have a Celiac Disease diagnosis but our grocery bill doubled and some of our family favorites disappeared instantly.

We didn’t ask for permission, we just started with a one-page website and a few hundred gluten-free folks who had struggled along with us.  Fast forward a few years and that one-page website has turned into a published buyers guide that is distributed to thousands of people including grocery store buyers and category managers.

Each year we give back to the community and focus on our mission by distributing as many free copies of the guide as possible during a short time period each January.  The number of free copies distributed is a fundamental method in which we measure our success.
I am amazed that we are now going into our seventh consecutive year and love the method in which we facilitate a collective and forceful voice.

Personally, we don’t always agree with the results.  Each year some of our personal favorites don’t make the nominations but we are passionate about the power of the collective results generated.  The majority votes rule and will also be the method in which we crown the victors.

This year we have over forty categories and some of the results are going to literally shock the gluten free community.
Grab the guide now.

How it all works in 5 simple steps.

Step 1:  Brands register their product(s) throughout the year.
Step 2:  In late Summer, thousands of people vote for their favorite bloggers.
Step 3:  We compile a list of the thirty most influential bloggers and give them an opportunity to make additional nominations.
Step 4:  In Fall we compile all of the nominations and open it up to public voting.
Step 5:  In January we compile the data and release the results in the Annual Gluten Free Buyers Guide.
