We know it’s tough to have celiac disease or some other condition that prevents you from eating gluten. It is often isolating and can lead to anxiety and depression simply by following your diet. I have listened to podcasts for over 10 years now and can’t imagine my runs or commuting without them. I have a few gluten free podcasts in my library and listen to them almost immediately once a new episode comes out. These top 3 gluten free podcasts will educated while making you feel as though you have friends out there going through the same tribulations. In no particular order, I would like to give a brief overview of each and provide you a link to their podcast. If you are gluten free and often feel frustrated with our lifestyle, I highly recommend listening to these. (These are not apart of the GFA Awards Program) We will be adding a new podcast category next year. In the meantime, these are our favorites. Hope you enjoy.

Nadine Grzeskowiak, The Gluten Free RN has a technical podcast that will at times make your head explode with knowledge. She will educate you in a way that is not threatening and is often times very entertaining. From travel, to clinical trials, Nadine covers it all. Find her podcast here:

The Celiac Project Podcast hosted by Michael Frolichstein and Cam Weiner. These two talk celiac disease and navigating the gluten free lifestyle with every Wednesday. The dive into many topics, current events and special guests in the celiac and gluten free community. This podcast normally has me talking to myself in traffic as I agree with Mike and Cam or their special guests. Feel alone in this gluten free world? Listen to this podcast, it’s life changing.
The Gluten-Free Guide Channel
Vanessa Weisbrod, Celiac Disease Program Educational Director for The National Children’s Health System is the host of The Gluten Free Radio Podcast. Some of you might remember Vanessa from the ever popular but discontinued gluten free podcast “Hold the Gluten” when you co-hosted with Maureen Stanley for a time. Vanessa is also the former editor of Delight Gluten Free Magazine but now spends here time at the the National Children’s Health System in D.C. Her podcast is blend of the The Gluten Free RN Podcast and The Celiac Project Podcast. She too has technical guests but often breaks complex ideas down so those without medical degrees can understand. She has celiac and is also a mother to a celiac. She gets it! Vanessa is one of the sweetest people you will meet and her personality comes through the podcast.
