“My 6 year old was recently diagnosed. This useful book has helped eliminate some of the frustrating trial and error from trying new products. We’ve tried several of your recommended products and my little man agrees! Thanks for a comprehensive GF buyers guide!”

“In perusing the listings, I quickly found that my very favorite bread, pancake mix, and magazine are listed as number one here – and I tried many products to come to that conclusion. It gives me great confidence that other recommendations will be good ones.

“Invaluable guide for anyone with celiac or gluten sensitivity. Save money by getting the favorite brands. Might as well benefit from the experiences of others.”

Great Resource!!! Thank You for providing such a valuable tool for those of us who are GF buyers–this is my ‘Go To’ source for all my gluten free needs!!! Thank You for your time, research and hard work on this vital guide!!!”

I totally love this book! Every year when it comes out I get it. It is such a huge help!”

Awesome resource for those with celiac disease. Much cheaper to buy this book than experiment with poor quality gluten-free foods. It also contains references to other gluten-free resources online and in print.”

This is an incredible resource for celiacs and anyone following a gluten free diet. It summarizes the whole gluten free industry and recommends products based on surveys sent out to celiacs and others.”

  1. Hi! I admin a group called Gluten-Free Vegans. One that comes up frequently is Little Northern Bakehouse. They have three flavors, and are one of the faves listed, along with BFree, which I think is on the list. It’s nice to have a bread that also eliminates the common allergens of egg and dairy/milk too!

  2. Having tried nearly every GF bread available in my area, I have found one that is like the ‘Wonder bread” of GF breads . It is LiDL’s GF bread. It is soft, moist and slightly dense. It never crumbles or ‘feels’ mealy in my mouth. After years of not being able to enjoy fresh tomato sandwiches, we had Aldis move in, which now that I have found LiDL’s GF bread there is no comparison!

  3. The new Udi’s white bread is my favorite, hands down! Delicious plain or toasted! Happy to not have to toast my bread for every sandwich anymore!

  4. My favorite gf bread is Sam’s Choice multigrain bread from Walmart. As far as I am concerned it runs rings around all the others. It is moist and delicious and does not need to be toasted to get a soft texture.

  5. I recently tried UDI’S new softest ever white bread and after trying all the UDI breads and not being very happy I was skeptical. But I had ordered a sandwich at my favorite restaurant that offer GF bread. I was amazed at the bread and asked what it was. UDI’S new softest ever white bread!!! I have tried them all believe me, all of them are great toasted but eating them plain out of the package always made me feel funky, stomach wise. I had the best luck with Schar white bread, or the grain variety, I have tried the canyon breads too, I like Trader Joes bread for the chewy texture but have to toast it. This new UDI’S is the best, I can eat a slice right out of the bag with a little butter or peanut butter and love it.

  6. La Brea bakery makes a fantastic multi-grain GF bread. I buy it at Fred Meyer (Kroger) in Portland, OR, so it has fairly wide distribution.

  7. Little Northern Bakery has the best gluten free/dairy free bread. The slices have good texture and are similar in size to those I ate before I needed to eat gluten free. Please add this company to your list of bread bakeries.
